If you thought that books and magazines on the floor mean that the landlords were cleaning the house and didn’t have time to put them into shelves, you’re mistaken. Thousands of books and magazines find their place on the floor now on purpose. Usually such a pile replaces a night table and if not, it’s a very cosy interior detail.
Interiors with stacked books and magazines on the floor look not so sterile, dynamic, Bohemian and usually brings some ancient spice. Such an interior detail is rather likeable in Scandinavian and vintage style interiors even though it usually appears only because of one reason – the lack of space on the shelves.
By the way, not everybody would be so brave to lay down the best means of education on the floor – as if some kind of disrespect would be shown for it this way even though I don’t think so. What do you think?
