I have to notice that it is more difficult to differ Scandinavian illuminators from others comparing to furniture, but you will never be mistaken if you just make some interest in the origin of the manufacturer.
Louis Poulsen – one of the most popular Danish illuminator manufacturers whose illuminators were created by such designers as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen. All lights represent a Scandinavian style and there is a huge amount of them. Therefore, attention, please, Scandinavian illuminators and the ones of PH (PH5 in this case), Artichoke series and others.
„Muuto” – a very popular furniture and illumnators manufacturer exactly for a Scandinavian style.
The designer‘s Dana Cannam‘s illuminator “Clamp” which was awarded “The Red Dot Design Award” prize in 2012. Indeed, an illuminator which is worth the prize.
