The policy of the open spaces is followed.

The interior of a modern flat can be treated in different ways. What can we name as modern? There are so many opinions as people, however, exploring the interiors outside the Lithuanian borders, it's possible to notice the trend which interiors are dominant. There is already no surprise to see concrete (relatively large its areas) and a little breath of antiquity combined with modern equipment and some designers’ furniture. Of course, nothing is limited by that, but here the features of a modern interior are recognized in the fastest way.
This time I'm sharing the photos of the flat, projected by an architect Felipe Hess (I already published one of his works earlier). As usual, the flat is in an old building, where everything that can serve for a nice interior is saved. A parquet and brick wall have been left changing their appearance: the floor was made to look a bit aged and bricks were recolored to white.
The Brazilian furniture was used in the widest way and book shelf was designed by Filipe himself. There is a great amount of designers’ works in the flat (from chairs to pictures). Undoubtedly, the policy of the open spaces is followed, therefore, guest room, work room, dining room and kitchen are placed in one space, however, separated in a very professional way so that the separate functions do not bother each other.
By the way, this interior has Mid-century modern style elements and you can call it modern as well.
Bathroom is light, modern and cosy. By the way, the size and solution of a mirror is definitely non-standard (there is a question if it was comfortable to look at it). Well, a child will definitely not see himself.
To tell the truth, the bedroom reminds of a room in a five-star-hotel. For me personally some pictures are lacking so that we could feel that we are at home, not in a hotel :)
Everything else is, in my opinion, tasteful and in the right places, however, a common interior style would probably better fit the “improved” homestead or holiday house than the interior of a person living there every day. However, some people can consider it the ideal place concerning their character features, lifestyle, hobbies and so on.
