A limited budget was given to equip this 41-sq.m apartment in Poland – only 10 000 Eur. I immediately notice that there’re IKEA furniture and lights here, however, perfectly harmonized colors, textures and mandalas which became leitmotifs of the whole flat turned a flat into an indeed cozy place.
A flat interior style is Industrial / Scandinavian. Open electrical lamps with wires laced on ceiling and a white brick wall provide an industrial mood. As designers themselves say, even though a lot of dark colors are used, round mandalas and stylized giant owl on a wall separated the color black and the interior becomes not so dark. A light tree, bright blue rack and yellow bots (which can stand here always for the sake of color) and abundance of pillows turned a flat into a much cozier one.
Rather popular patterned tiles are used in a corridor and they provide dynamics. The original picture with words that one can read through a mirror as well as usually becomes the main stress in a bathroom, and their meaning in a bathroom becomes very important, especially if you are not satisfied with your image in a mirror. It could be a perfect motivation in a lot of public spaces or dressing cabins.
