Well, this student indeed lives better and more beautifully than the huge part of Lithuania and I’m saying that not to laugh at Lithuanians, but due to the fact that it’s nice to look at people who live in nice surroundings. Especially when those people are students who usually don’t have any opportunities to see that beauty in their apartment which is most usually a dormitory. This student was indeed successful – a flat is equipped indeed stylishly and I expect that this tastefulness will also be transferred into other fields of his life. Paris is Paris and the only thing that is needed is to expect that better times will come to Lithuania by all means and every student's apartment will be stylish and cosy.
Some information about an apartment itself. It can be seen that a man lives there – a lot of grey color and photos indicate that a man is studying something related to arts – there’s plenty of various drawings and graphic works. That’s how I imagine the space of the young artist – the old is combined with the new creating an industrial mood.
Suitcases used instead of a table, a glazed wall that separates a kitchen from a guestroom, open electric lamps and the chairs of industrial style are rather modern interior elements. It just seems to me that a panel which a computer is put on is too narrow. However, if a computer is not the main means of work probably it’s enough space to paint pictures. In any case this student flat is the excellent example for our students from Lithuania.
