25 sq.m apartment in a suburb of Paris – cozy and playful home of the 26-year-old-man where there isn’t too much, but enough space for one person.
The bedroom area is designed next to the entrance, more accurately, behind the bathroom which is partly separated by open shelves (a kind of partition) and is raised on the platform so that the space behind the bed could be used for item storage. It’s not difficult to climb one step but to have a lot of space for items, yes?
A living room zone is very playful and not overloaded and tasteful Scandinavian style furniture attracts one’s eye. A dining area looks especially cozy – there is a small table with two bar chairs. All that corner reminds me the cozy café and a heater doesn’t damage a common view. There’s also a shallow closet next to the entrance which goes over television area and the kitchen which possibly shouldn’t be very big as for each man. You can cook here but it’s not possible to cook something for a large family. In addition, the tiles over the kitchen tabletop are very nice.
I would have reduced the open space around a TV and switched that piece with the photos to the kitchen. The photos can take place above or under a TV and one more deeper cabinet wouldn’t make any damage but it’s the personal business of everyone and it depends on a hobby to collect items. Blue color accent repeats oneself in a bathroom as well as in a bedroom. The tile arrangement is untraditional but interesting in that way. In general, it’s obvious that the flat isn’t new because there’re a lot of cranky places and things which usually don’t take place in new flats but it’s indeed possible to live nice!
