I always melt when I see achromatic colour pictures with white passports.

That’s one of the most wonderful discoveries of these days. Extermely stylish small apartment in Sweden where the stylist Josefin Håågs lived some time ago. This apartment has already been sold but nobody forbids to admire it now and take inspiration for one’s small (not necessarily) space!
When we enter the apartment, we see the dark hall. You’d say that it’s a strange solution – the colour white would have looked much more spacy but that can happen that this colour has been chosen due to the fact that dust cannot be seen so easily and so that the feeling “ohhh, what a space” came. Yes yes, such a scenario is also possible – colours are a very powerful tool.
There’s one rather big window which enlightens the bigger part of the space. Well, and white walls don’t surprise anybody. But I was pleasantly surprised that there are a lot of black and grey details in an interior which don’t disturb but vice versa – fulfil the interior and as if give weight and stability. It wasn’t done and without metro style (or simply white square as in a bathroom) tiles characteristic to Scandinavian style.
Of course, the most beautiful place is the walls hung with pictures. I always melt when I see achromatic colour pictures with white passports. That’s really subtle, elegant and totally Scandinavian!
Such details as leather holder for magazines on the wall, some small photos, interior accessories on the windowsill or shelves bring cosiness to the interior. I also like the fact that chair and bench colours are perfectly combined with fabrics. In addition, it’s useful to have items performing several functions such as bench which can be used as a night table close to the bed or to give the seats to the guests who have come.
If there’s any question where wardrobes are, so I suspect that you can find such one behind black doors close to the kitchen (you can see a small room / niche in the plan). Of course, the kitchen itself is probably too small but if one eats a lot at the restaurants there’s probably enough space for fast breakfast or light dinner.
Did you liked this interior? I was fascinated by it (I suspect that it’s because of the pictures on the walls) and even when looking at the pictures I feel calmness and elegance. My imagination also perfectly paints the stylist who is living in this apartment and is scrolling through magazines by the table with a laptop.
